Invisalign
Invisalign for Teens
Invisalign is incredibly popular with both patients and orthodontists and is the top alternative to traditional metal braces and ceramic braces. Instead of brackets and bands, parts of traditional metal braces, the Invisalign system uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten your smile.
Invisalign clear aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and customized to fit snugly over your teeth. However, the invisible trays need to be switched after every 1-2 weeks in order to keep clear aligners and your teeth moving in the right direction.
The Invisalign system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed properly. Aligners should be worn 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment and failure to follow these protocols can impede the results and also add time to finish.
Invisalign is suitable for common orthodontic issues but is not as effective in some complex cases. A free consultation with Limestone Hills Orthodontics will allow us to determine your Invisalign eligibility.
uLab Aligners
Because many of Invisalign patents fell, we also offer ULab aligners, which use the same material Invisalign used a few years ago. It’s one of the many “generic” aligner brands available.
Dr. Viecilli does not notice clinical differences on the performance.
The ULab aligners and your tooth positions are typically set up by Dr. Viecilli himself and his team (not a technician in an office in Costa Rica, like in Invisalign, which makes it easy for a general dentist to offer it) and offer savings to the patient due to this.
In our opinion, in almost all cases, there is no compromise in quality with generic aligners, and that’s why many orthodontists are offering brands other than Invisalign to make the cost of therapy more affordable to the patient or family.

Metal and Clear Braces
Traditional braces are one of the most efficient orthodontic tools we have. They’re made out of Stainless Steel or Rhodium Metal Brackets.
We also offer self-ligating ceramic clear braces that do not stain since they do not need elastics to be replaced. The appliances are glued to dental arches, then connected by wires and tiny rubber bands or elastics or locked in by a metal door in the case of self-ligating brackets.
These brackets, wires, and bands work together to apply the gentle pressure that will gradually move the tooth into the position we want it to be. With regular adjustments, our doctors ensure that the alignment process continues smoothly.
Braces are an excellent choice for correcting complex tooth alignment issues. They can sometimes work faster at aligning teeth and closing gaps, reducing the overall duration of therapy.
